Iron Maiden have been nominated for 'Best British Live Act' in the forthcoming Brit Awards.

Other nominees are Coldplay, Elbow, Scouting for Girls and The Verve - so this is a GREAT opportunity for us to show the power and popularity of metal by voting for Maiden. Over the years the Brits have rarely included anyone from the Metal fraternity so this is a chance to make our voices heard

Over the years, his vocal range has extended from C#2 to F5 in chest and mixed voice, as demonstrated on tracks featuring vocals as low as those on "Believil" (C#2) and the live version from Rock In Rio of Hallowed Be Thy Name (F5). Using falsetto he could go as high as those on "Gangland" (B5). However, following Powerslave in 1984, Dickinson cut out the use of all screams in the band's future studio material, with the only exception being the G5 "Be Quick or Be Dead" in 1992.
